Accessibility
How This Site Is Built
Accessibility here is built into the pages rather than bolted on with an overlay widget. Those widgets tend to make screen reader experiences worse rather than better, so this site does not use one.
- Every page starts with a skip link to the main content
- Headings run in order, so a screen reader can navigate by structure
- Color contrast meets the AA standard on normal and large text
- Everything works by keyboard, and the focus outline is visible
- Images carry real alternative text, not filenames
- Tables have proper headers and captions
- Nothing depends on color alone to make sense
- The page respects a reduced motion setting
If Something Here Does Not Work for You
Call or email and tell us what page and what happened. We will fix it and we will not ask you to explain why it matters.
If a page is in your way right now and you need the information, call. Somebody will read it to you and answer the question directly.
